We were delighted to invite prospective students and their parents to our annual Open Evening on Thursday 28th September 2023 from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.  We hope that you are able to join us where you will have the opportunity to view the Academy's facilities and see our students taking part in a wide range of activities. 

Our Welcome to Thornhill Community Academy video can be viewed below. In this you will be able to hear Mr Burton’s message to parents. Our Head Boy and Head Girl, who were at the Academy when the video was made, bring you their perspective of the Academy and some of our Year 7 students will tell you what they like about coming here.

We look forward to welcoming you in person on Thursday 28th September. The Admissions Procedure for September 2024 is set out by Kirklees Council and further information can be found here. Please be aware that the closing date for applications is 31st October 2023.
