At Thornhill Community Academy, we know that some of the most valuable learning happens outside of the classroom.

Our extra-curricular programme gives students the chance to try new things, discover their passions, build confidence, make friends and develop valuable life skills.

With opportunities in sport, music, creative arts, academic subjects and much more, there is something for every student!

We encourage every student to try at least one new club. They do not need to have experience or be the best, they simply need to be willing to have a go and have fun.

We strongly encourage all parents and carers to talk to their child about the opportunities available and support the student in finding a club that interests them.

Clubs will be available to students during break time, lunch time and after school. After school clubs will finish between 15:45 and 16:00.

What you learn in the classroom builds your knowledge; what you do beyond it builds you as a person.
