Students from the Academy’s Autistic Spectrum Condition Resourced Provision organised and ran a Christmas Fayre which raised a fabulous £260 for charity. The money will be donated to this year’s Christmas Jumper Appeal in support of Save the Children.
The event was extremely well attended by staff, students, parents and friends. The fayre featured several stalls including crafts, Christmas cards, plants and sweets. There was also a tombola and raffle.
Students from the provision did a fabulous job running the stalls and relished the opportunity to serve their customers whilst raising funds for charity.
Visitors to the fayre were also able to enjoy refreshments served by the students in the newly refurbished community kitchen.
